Becca Talbert is a dedicated and compassionate Clinical Counseling Graduate Level Intern whose mission is to help clients heal, hope, and live fully. She is committed to fostering an environment where individuals can share their stories, navigate challenges, and achieve personal growth. Becca employs a variety of therapeutic techniques, including psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, and person-centered therapy approaches, to tailor her methods to each client’s unique needs. Her goal is to build a trusting relationship within the therapy room, allowing clients to experience a sense of freedom to express themselves, feel supported, and know they are valued.

Becca believes in the power of understanding each person’s unique story and works diligently to create a safe space where clients can explore their emotions and thoughts. By combining empathy with evidence-based practices, she helps individuals uncover the root causes of their struggles and empowers them to find paths toward healing and fulfillment.

Originally from Kentucky, Becca relocated to the Sunshine State two years ago and has since embraced the vibrant culture and warm weather. In her personal time, she enjoys exploring Florida’s beautiful beaches, discovering quaint coffee shops, and dining at new restaurants with her husband. This passion for exploration and connection mirrors her professional approach—always curious, always learning, and always eager to discover new perspectives.

EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE

Becca graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s degree in Social Justice Studies, where she developed a keen interest in advocating for individuals and communities. Her academic background laid a strong foundation for understanding societal influences on mental health and well-being. Currently, she is pursuing her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Palm Beach Atlantic University. This program has equipped her with advanced skills in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning, preparing her to address a wide range of mental health issues with competence and care.

In addition to her formal education, Becca has gained valuable experience through internships and volunteer work in various counseling settings. These experiences have allowed her to work with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and families. She has developed a particular interest in working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions.

Becca is committed to lifelong learning and is eager to continue expanding her knowledge and skills in the field of mental health. Her future aspirations include obtaining licensure as a professional counselor and specializing in trauma-informed care.
