Lauren Santos, Clinical Counseling Graduate Level Intern| Lauren aims to foster a safe space for individual’s so they can explore their heavy thoughts and emotions without any feelings of judgement or shame. She is passionate about helping individuals heal through person-centered and cognitive behavioral based approaches that aim to help the individual truly understand themselves and work towards their personal goals. She primarily enjoys working with teens and young adults. Lauren believes that through the therapeutic process and exploration, there is a
great possibility that individuals can work through their internal battles and find hope, joy, and more self-love and acceptance. She is from Florida and adores spending time with her fiancé and miniature poodle.
She loves and fully believes the quote from Fred Rogers, “What is mentionable is manageable.”
EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE
Lauren is currently completing her clinical practicum and internship for her Master of Science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in crisis and trauma through Palm Beach Atlantic University. She is also a member of the American Counseling Association.
