Lydia Cardona, Clinical Counseling Graduate Level Intern| Lydia is a bilingual (Spanish) mental health student intern. She is honored to work alongside individuals in their journey toward healing during challenging life situations. Lydia is empathetic, compassionate, and believes individuals hold countless strengths. She primarily enjoys working with adolescents, adults, and families. Lydia is committed to providing a safe, nonjudgmental, comfortable environment for individuals to share various concerns while integrating a strength-based approach, self-regulatory healing practices, and other therapeutic options for living in a healthier way, self-awareness, and building positive relationships.  Lydia is inspired by her own self-work and experiences of anxiety and healing from life happenings. Through her own experiences, Lydia has learned to trust the process, believing individuals can overcome adversities and difficulties. Lydia has been married to her husband for 14 years; she enjoys reading and spending time with her family. 

Education and Expertise

 Lydia is completing a clinical practicum and internship through Palm Beach Atlantic University with her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is an active member of the Florida Counseling Association and Golden Key International Honour Society.
