Alyssa Floresdevalgas, Clinical Counseling Graduate Level Intern| Alyssa is dedicated and driven to hold space for their clients to feel comfortable talking about and processing their thoughts and emotions without feeling pressure or judgment. She has spent years working with children on the autism spectrum and with developmental delays. She is passionate about using a personalized approach in counseling with individuals, kids, teens, couples, and families to work towards achieving their goals in therapy and learning communication, coping, and self-care skills. Alyssa is an EcuaRican woman who came to Florida with her family from Queens, NY, as a child; she enjoys reading and playing with her dogs, Cotto and Ella.
EDUCATION AND EXPERTISE
Alyssa is completing her clinical practicum and internship for her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health counseling with concentrations in Play Therapy and Marriage & Family Therapy through Palm Beach Atlantic University.
