Happy October and Happy Halloween! I am super excited for the temperature drops and the smell of pumpkin spice everywhere. As I stroll through the stores and admire the halloween decorations I thought about how we tend to live a life with masks on. Today is easier than ever to pretend we are something we are not. When you see kids wear their costumes they immediately act like the character. It is almost innate to become the thing you are wearing. Somehow we believe that kids are the only ones doing this. Us adults tend to wear many masks and then we forget to take them off. Now maybe we wear them to protect ourselves or maybe to hide our vulnerability. Regardless of the reasons, I think it is important to remember who you truly are and take the MASK OFF. Show up as yourself sometimes. And remember that everyone can see when you are wearing a costume!
